“There’s an old joke. Two elderly women are at a Catskill restaurant. One of them says, ‘Boy, the food at this place is just terrible.’ The other one says, ‘Yeah I know. And such small portions.’ Well, that’s essentially how I feel about life. Full of misery, loneliness and suffering and unhappiness – and it’s all over much too quickly.”
 -Woody Allen, from Annie Hall

  1. yup, life's too short, even for kvetching

  2. My bills will never be paid off, my looks are gone, and I might live another forty years or more. Ay caramba. I hope i go five minutes after my dog does.

  3. And the older you get the faster it seems to go. I will be 65 on my next birthday and am already getting mail about medicare. OMG.

  4. life is short - live fast - love hard.

  5. All I know is that today begins our fall break from school and I'm so anticipating it I can't stand it. (I know this has something to do with the quote above.)

Rant with me. Come on, you know you want to!
