My father was diagnosed with Menieres, about 40 years ago. He used to love to golf but found that trying to "follow" the ball would make him dizzy, often making him stumble and fall. He was mortified that others would think he'd been drinking so he quit golfing. So little known about this disease. Great information, thank you for sharing this!
Thanks so much Deb! I understand your father's apprehension about appearing drunk. I was in the grocery store the other day and a dizzy spell hit me. I had to hold on to the cart like a walker and I was stumbling around the aisles. It's a frightening experience!
Thank you for the adorable and informative illustrations. I have been searching for loving ways to inform, and so many memes regarding Meniere's Disease come off as snarky and accusatory. I hope you don't mind if I use these on my Facebook page.
Delightfully informative, dear Mouse.
