Migraine Awareness Month #5: "Do That To Me One More Time." What
comfort measure do you find helps you enough during a Migraine that you
go back to it again and again, and how do you use it?
Other than SLEEP, if I'm lucky enough that my husband is available to give me some intense acupressure on my neck, base of my skull, and above my eyes, it sometimes helps diminish the pain for a while, at least while he's doing it. Unfortunately, I can't seem to acupressure myself, and believe me, I've tried!
National Migraine Awareness Month is initiated by the National Headache Foundation. The Blogger's Challenge is initiated by www.FightingHeadacheDisorders.com.
I've had a few migraines. maybe one or two a year, but it's been years now since I had one. :0) Seems that STRESS can't be the problem/trigger of mine with all the crap I go through.
ReplyDeleteCan't begin to imagine what your life is like living with these migraines Ami.
Haven't forgot how I prayed to die ...with my pain. (((hugs)))Pat
When I was cycling through my migraine years, acupressure really helped ~ the trick was in finding the perfect person to administer it!!
